At the age of 15-17 you are considered an adolescent, meaning the child is entering the pre adulthood learning to be a responsible adult when older. Teenagers aren't perfect, and there just learning in becoming an adult. Teens are expected to be responsible in public just like any other citizen when there on their own, when a teenager you are considered to be responsible in public and make smart decisions, but also learn from those decisions, whether they are bad or good, life is about learning from your mistakes and improve on them.
Teenagers actions can be influenced by what goes on around them, whether they see their friend doing something not so smart or because of what they see on the media that could be a bad influence for a young age. These bad influences can cause violent action out of teens, and these acts of violence can either result on the streets or other people. Many teens don't think before they act, then they suffer with the consequences, there parents aren't the ones to suffer.
Teenagers tend to be out on the streets during the night with other friends, and that's when most crimes happen. But what teens don't understand is that if they don't watch their actions and what they do, they will suffer with the consequences that their actions bring them. But realize that the foolish things teens do on the streets during curfew hours, it's not the parents responsibility for what the teenager does on his/her own, teens choose to make their own decisions. When teens are on the streets they must respect all the laws just like any other citizen, they are a part of society just like every one else, just because teens can't be thrown in mall doesn't mean they can't be in serious trouble.
In conclusion, parents should not take responsibility for the stupid action of teenagers, At the age of a teenager, you should be responsible enough to realize your own mistakes and make your own decisions, bad influences of peers and media can influence teens to make poor decisions when out alone and when teens are out alone with no parental watch they are responsible for them selves.
