High end and expensive brands like Nike, Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie are known globally but are they really worth the expensive price?  Brand name clothes are all the rave.  They may be expensive but are most definitely worth the price in more ways than one.  The wallet wrenching price leads us to believe that the item is good quality and will last a while.  In my opinion, these assumptions are totally true.  High end, expensive clothes can boost self-esteem.  The issue is, people are questioning the quality of their expensive articles of clothing. Will it last? Was it worth the price?

Imagine walking around school with your new Ralph Lauren sneakers, you're going to feel super chic.  This will make you feel better about yourself.  In today's society, there are more and more youth who have a low self esteem.  This makes them self-conscious, which could cause a number of disorders.  When people are wearing new clothes especially a brand name, it instantly makes them more confident, which boosts their self esteem. Brand name clothes may be expensive but they boost confidence even more because it's a globally known name. 

The quality of brand name clothes is "amazing" why you may ask? Well brand name companies have to uphold to certain standards.  Therefore, a little extra company money is spent on making the product.  These clothes are meant to last years.  If you compare a Nike sneaker to a sneaker at Walmart.  Which on do you think will last longer? The Nike sneaker will last longer because it is better quality, in the way it was designed and it's durability.  Nike sneakers and other brand names may have amazing qualities that other brands, that may not be as expensive, will have.  Brand name clothes would be worth the extra bit of money.

Finally, the price of brand name clothes like Abercrombie & Fitch and Nike is very high.  This is because of the quality of the item.  The manufacturing process of brand name clothing can be very expensive.  The companies that own these brands are willing to pay a lot of money to the manufacturers to get a good quality product. The cost to manufacture is part of the reason brand name clothing is more expensive. More time and energy is put towards these articles of clothing so they must have a higher price. Company owners need to make profit off their products. Companies will price their clothing high and advertise it well so people will want to buy it. Brand name owners do not want people to walk into their stores and walk right out again, having made no purchase. They want consumers to focus on quality. They want people to choose their clothing because of the quality and durability, they want people to know its worth their money. Therefore, company owners will price their items high to make profit off the manufacturing and consummation.  They know good advertising, good quality and as well good looks will get consumers to buy their products instead of other brands.

In conclusion, yes brand name products are worth their expensive cost. After a bit of research, you can clearly see why they are worth the price consumers pay.  Brand names boost self esteem, they have a great quality and there is actually a logic behind the pricing of brand name clothing. Don't let prices trick you out of a worth while purchase.
