A little white lie never hurt anyone, right? Well you figured wrong. You may think that lying if the right thing to do in some occasions but in reality, it never is. If people always make up little white lies, people will continue to lie and it will become a habit. they will not be trusted and whether a small or a big lie, lies hurt. lying has been going on since the day humans were on Earth.

Firstly, honesty is always the best policy. If people always lie, it will definitely become a habit. People say that sometimes it is best to lie, but unfortunately for them, it never is. Lying has been going on for ages and it will probably never stop. Some people have tried to stop, but there is always that little devil on your shoulder saying that you should maybe tell a little white lie, and if you do, eventually that person will know and lose trust in you.



Secondly, trust is a huge issue if it is a habit of your to lie. Trust is probably the best feeling you can have when meeting someone new. Just one little lie can make you untrustworthy. Just because of a small lie, you can lose a friend and friends are very important in your life.

Last but not least, lies hurt. No matter what lie you tell, it will hurt the other persons feelings. Lies can be permanent to some people and it might destroy them mentally and sometimes physically. Even if your lie was a joke, that person can take it very personally and it will hurt them.

In conclusion, lying is wrong. If people continue to lie, it will become a habit, they will not be trusted and mostly, lies hurt. Always remember that honesty is always the best policy.
