Sports by Tristan.S
My favorite sports moment was in the hockey season 2009-2010 when the Montreal Canadiens were in 8th place and barely could make the series. This year the Montreal Canadiens brought a goalie from the Hamilton Bulldogs named Jaroslav Halak, he played a few good match in the regular seasons and was starting goalie when the serie came because Carey Price the usual starting goalie wasn't having a great season. So the Canadiens were having a though season and even worst the first team they would get was the best team of the league The Pittsburg Penguins. The Canadiens won the first game but after that game they lost the 3 other games. That's when it started the biggest sport moment in my life the Canadiens would put Halak in the goals and every game he would receive 40-50 shots and all of them were stops, they tied the penguins 3-3 and I remember how that night my mom would let me stay up to watch the game and how my dad was working it was 3-2 for Montreal with 11 seconds left to the 3rd period and I just knew that my father was watching that historical moment, Halak was fired with shots, 3,2,1 EINNNN it was over the Montreal Canadiens the team that wasn't even suppose to make the series just won against the best team in the league that night I woke up my 5 years old brother to tell him that his team just lost against mine I called my father screaming that the Canadiens won and he could just not believe it. As the series continue the Canadiens won against the second best team which in that time was the Washington Capitals and it was only in the Demi-finals that the Montreal Canadiens lost against the Flyers. I will always remember the great night the Canadiens did the impossible of winning against the Pittsgburg Penguins.

That was an exciting year! I remember cheering hard for the Canadians - it was before the Jets came back!
