Quotes are a simple and meaningful way of passing a message that can be seen differently from people to people.It all depends on how ,the quote affects you or how it makes you feel, or maybe even connections you may have from past experiences.The global meaning of the quote Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson is believe in yourself ,since throughout this meaningful quote the author makes us see many ways a person may hide themselves.Only because they don't believe in themselves enough to want to succeed or shine .Here is a part of this quote that affected me«It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us».It made me see and think about how many people don't believe im themselves.They rather fade in the darkness instead of shinning in the light .Only because people don't  think about how good they could be instead of seeing the failing as the only end result .People don't believe in themselves enough to want to succeed.It makes me see that if you believe in yourself nothing is impossible.

Fear is something everyone fears, even grown men. But the fear I'm talking about is not that of sharks or spiders but that of ourselves. The quote Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson illustrates that idea very well. The global meaning of that quote is that we all deserve to do our best. The verse that talks about "shining our light" means to be ourselves and to not be afraid of how good we can be. When the quote says "you're playing small does not serve the world", it basically means that, there is no point in hiding behind our weaknesses. We should always do our best or else one day we'll wake up and regret that we never showed people what we were really capable of. I especially like the line that says:"actually who are you not to be?" referring to being talented, brilliant, gorgeous and fabulous. That line hit me because there are a lot of texts that say stuff like " you're pretty", "be yourself", but this line affected me because honestly, who AM I to not do my best? As I read that line, I pictured a silhouette of a person looking out onto two open roads. One small the other bigger.The bigger one represents the path that most people take. The second, smaller one represents the path that only a few brave ones take. The picture represents someone trying to find their identity and them deciding if they will do their best which would mean taking the smaller less used path. That impacting line made me think of how people look up to celebrities and famous people and how they wish they could be like them. But who are they NOT to be? Who says they can't be themselves? Who says they can't do their best? Of coarse there will always be haters but if we let THOSE people define who we are, if we let our fears take control of our lives, than we aren't being true to ourselves. We aren't really living.

A quote is important and powerful words said or written by someone who wants to pass along a message. There are all sorts of quotes on different topics, but they are all as important as one another, including Marianne Williamson's titled Our Deepest Fear. She expressed herself effectively in her writing. This quote's meaning is that doing our best is what we should always do. It strengthens our confidence and gives others permission to do the same. Doing our best is using our strengths to their fullest and the author refers to this message with shining. When we shine, it makes us who we are. It may also help develop new relations with others who are also showing their strengths. Marianne Williamson mentions that there is nothing enlightened about shrinking and that it is better when we leave our weaknesses behind. It serves the world to show people what we are good at.

''We are all meant to shine, as children do.'' This line is meaningful to me because I can relate to it easily with experiences. It's meaning is that demonstrating our moral, mental or physical forces just like children brag in a good way about their accomplishments is a quality and we are all meant to do it. I can also connect to this line because I babysit often and the kids always want to show me their learning skills or their new dance move. I am different from them because I don't show off my skills like they do, although i should. This phrase is relevant to others because we all experienced or saw a child showing off their new ability. To represent this sentences, I chose a picture of a girl doing a cartwheel. She is exposing her ability in acrobatics; which reminds me of Joëlle who I babysit. She always wants to show me her cartwheels. She likes to receive compliments and showing me how she improves over the years. We should all be like Joëlle and like all other children. We should show our strengths as much as possible. It makes us who we are.

The "Our Deepest Fear" quote passes in my opinion a message that says that we can all be succcessfull and we all have our own strenghts and weeknesses which who we are and what we are. That is why all of us are unique and different in our own ways. One line that really got me is "we are all meant to shine,..." because everyone can be succesfull in life. I feel granted because I am a manuel personne. I'm able to change tires on a car, build things and even repair them because some people aren't able but others are better in school than I am and that is why we're all different. Each time I read this line, I see an image of many different aged people that all will or alredy did accomplish something great in their lives.

            Our fears aren't about what we don't know about ourselves, they are about what we do know about ourselves. Marianne Williamson's quote Our Deepest Fear illustrates this, "We are all meant to shine as children do". The quote's meaning is that we are meant to do our best; to use our strengths, not hide them. We need to stay as good as we can be, even if the people around us are uncomfortable. We shouldn't worry about other people judging us. "There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around us". In my life it has happened often that I was the best in my hockey team. Some people weren't happy that I had more ice time. When this happened I needed to keep reminding myself to keep my level of intensity the same. This quote is relevant to others when they are the best, when it is their turn to keep their level of intensity the same. An image that could represent this part of Marianne Williamson's quote is a miniature version of a teen looking up at a life size version of himself.  The bigger version represents what he can be and the miniature version represents what he actually is right now. I chose this image because it represents a person who isn't doing his best. It is significant because this person knows that he can do better... but he isn't doing better. Are you sure you can't do better?

¨Who are you not to be?¨ is the quote that really stands out for me. What's more important: being who you really are or pretending to be someone that your not? You should not be jealous of others. Be happy and proud of who you really are.

 You need to be thankful on the things you have and not worry about what you don't have. It connects to me because i sometimes talk about things that i don't have but, we should focus on what we have. 

Immediately when i think about this quote is just me, standing there and things i don't have popping up beside me. While the things i have are in me. And i know it's not just me, everybody thinks and wanders about what they could do with stuff they dream about and what they could do with it. Everything that we have today, is all gained. We worked hard to get things and it usually rewards us. Even if we had the things we want, after we would search for more things we could have. We take everything for granted but we need to be aware of this. The message in this quote is to be yourself, and only yourself.

Quotes are the simple, but powerful sentences that we see in our everyday life. Marianne Williamson's quote called " Our Deepest Fear" is a good example of a powerful text that we can connect to. Teenagers must stop thinking they're not good enough. When they hide their strengths, it doesn't help others to be proud of themselves. We live in a generation where we are influenced by the people around us. If we stop worrying about what others think, people around us will do the same. Marianne explained it well in her quote, " And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same". " We are all meant to shine, as children do". This sentence is the one that marked me the most. It tells teenagers to stop worrying about others opinions and be proud of what we do. Children are always happy to show what they accomplish, and we must do the same. While reading this sentence, I imagine a kid with a big smile, showing off something he did, and just being proud of it. I can connect to this sentence the same way most teenagers do. We are afraid to show our good sides because of what others might think. That's why this quote is so powerful to me, every sentence of the text explain what we can live through every day in our growing-up stage. This quote by Marianne Williamson makes us understand that it's better to be like a kid who's proud to be who they are, then hide what makes us a good person and our strengths.
